Anti-Yellow Routine
Yellow creeps in slowly. It takes a method to remove it.
Sun, hard water, pollution: on gray, silver and blonde hair, yellow builds up without you noticing. Two products, used together in the same wash, to bring back a clean, luminous tone.

The signs
Do you recognize these?
Your grays are turning straw-colored
The most beautiful gray is bright and cool. Over time it warms up, and your face looks duller.
Your lightened blonde has turned warm
After lightening, yellow comes back wash after wash, even when the color was perfect.
Your gray has lost its glow
Silver gray turns dull and shifts toward warm tones that aren't yours.
It gets worse in summer
Sun and hard water speed up yellowing: in just a few days the tone changes.
In practice
Here's how I use it
-

Once or twice a week
The Anti-Yellow Shampoo
Its violet pigment neutralizes yellow, but it needs to be dosed: don't use it at every wash. The first time, leave it on for just one minute and check the result; if needed, next time go up to three.

Right after, in the same wash
The Anti-Yellow Conditioner
The shampoo does the work, the conditioner finishes it: it keeps working on the lengths and softens them. Apply it from lengths to ends, with gloves if your hands are very fair, and don't go over five minutes.

Questions
The ones I'm asked most often
Can it leave a lilac tone?
On very light, bleached or porous hair it can leave a slight, temporary lilac tone. Stick to the processing times and, the first time, test it on a strand.
How often should I use them?
Once or twice a week. For your other washes, use a gentle shampoo.
Can I use just the shampoo?
Yes, but the violet pigment tends to dry the hair a little: the conditioner completes the work and softens the lengths.
Does it stain?
The pigment can stain light-colored fabrics: use a dark towel and, if your hands are very fair, gloves.
